Audrey: the wish that came true

For their Christmas fundraising appeal, Independent Age asked Dave to create a film which portrayed the positive impact of one of their service users.

Shot on location in Newcastle, the Audrey appeal was Independent Age’s most successful to date, leading to a more than 300% increase in donations versus previous years. The film was organically seen more than 100,000 times, and was picked up by several press outlets. 

Audrey was so moved by the response that she became a spokesperson for the charity, going on to present her story at in-person meetings in front of large groups of people: quite a change from the isolation she’d previously experienced for so long.
