In 2017, Dave created Dave-Gill.org, a video production agency focused on creating engaging videos for NGOs and charities, after several years of leading creative teams in-house for a variety of reputable charities.

At the heart of Dave’s work is a deep drive for collaborating with extraordinary organisations, weaving compelling narratives through emotive films.

Dave’s clients are charities and NGOs, from grassroots to global, and he is Clearcast Agency and Hostile Environment Awareness certified.

Dave’s directing style is emotive and has been refined through interviewing thousands of people – from case studies to staff, corporate partners to trustees. He has built a reputation for empowering reserved interviewees to confidently and wholeheartedly tell their story on camera, even when the subject matter is sensitive.

As a producer, Dave has built a network of filmmakers around the globe – from Moldova to Tanzania, Ukraine to South Sudan, Venezuela to Rwanda, US to Colombia, Syria to Gaza to name just a few – and is committed to hiring local camera operators and fixers when suitable.

Whether filming in the living room of an interviewee’s house, or in a studio with snazzy lights, Dave is experienced at producing videos in a variety of settings. Internationally, he has a strong track record of shooting films in a diverse range of countries.
